This weekend Templeogue U18 Men are off to Neptune Stadium in Cork to take part in the Hula Hoops Men’s National Cup Qualifiers. There are 4 qualifying tournaments taking place around the country with two teams emerging from each section to play in the Quarter Finals in December.
TBC will face local Dublin League rivals Killester in their first game at 11.30am, followed by their second pool game v Moycullen of Galway. The other pool contains cup holders Neptune, Tolka and Drogheda. The lads have started the season in great form beating KUBs away and an emphatic home win over Malahide. The two favourites to emerge from this section will be Neptune and Templeogue and if both make Sunday’s final, there will be a great anticipation of a close game similar to two cracking games they played out in The Billy Kelly tournament with Neptune winning by 1 point in the pool stages and by 4 points in the final.
